Introduction of NET- 

The National Educational Testing Bureau of UGC performs National Eligibility Test to decide competency for lectureship and for award of Jr. Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to assure minimum requirements for the entrants in the educating profession and research. The Test is performed in Humanities, Computer Science, Environmental Sciences, and Applications, Social Sciences, Electronic Science, and Forensic Science.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research performs the UGC-CSIR NET for such as other Science subjects, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Earth Atmospheric Ocean & Planetary Sciences jointly with the UGC. The Exams are conducted two times in a year usually in the months of June and December.

UC Net syllabus and Date of Test

The Test will exist of three forms. All the three papers will include of only objective type questions and will be organized on SUNDAY 30th June, 2013 in two individual classes as under:
